Privacy

PURPOSE
At TIB- The Independent BankersBank (TIB), the basis of each consumer relationship is Trust. We believe that your choice to do business with TIB obligates us to honor that relationship with great care, beginning with the information you share with us. We believe that your privacy should not be compromised. At the same time, we want to offer you the array of financial products and services you need to accomplish your financial goals. We believe we can do both through the Privacy Policy outlined below.
 
I. Recognition of Your Expectation of Privacy
TIB recognizes your right to privacy. We recognize that you have a right to expect your personal financial information to remain confidential and secure. We will endeavor to maintain a standard to ensure that your information is confidential and secure at all times.
 
II. Our Collection, Retention and Use of Information About You
Information about consumers is accumulated from a variety of sources. Some information is provided to TIB directly by consumers themselves. Other data is developed by TIB as a function of providing a product or service to consumers. Still other information is obtained from outside sources. We will limit the use and collection of information about our consumers to that which is necessary to administer our business and provide superior service. This means that we will use information to help us identify and mitigate potential risks or loss to TIB. We will use this information only in accordance with principles set out in this Policy.
 
III. Our Maintenance of Accurate Information
TIB has established procedures to ensure that your financial information is accurate, current and complete, in keeping with reasonable commercial standards. We also pledge to respond to requests to correct inaccurate information in a timely manner.
 
IV. Limiting Employee / Director Access to Information
Each TIB employee/director is required to follow our Company's "Code of Conduct,"/"Conflict of Interest," which states that all consumer information is considered private and privileged and is to be used solely for the purpose of providing you with the finest service available. We restrict access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products and services to you.
 
V. Security Procedure to Protect Information
TIB is committed to the security of your financial and personal information. All of our operational and data processing systems are in a secure environment that protects your account information from being accessed by third parties. We maintain and grant access to consumer information only in accordance with our internal security standards.
 
VI. Restrictions on Disclosing Information to Parties Outside our Affiliated Companies
We may share information with unaffiliated companies when: they assist us in providing our products and services to our consumers; in the normal course of our business (for example, with consumer reporting agencies and government agencies); it is legally required or permitted in connection with fraud investigations and litigation; in connection with acquisitions and sales; at the request or with the permission of a consumer; and as permitted by law.
VII. Restrictions on Disclosing Information to our Affiliated Companies
We do not share information with our affiliates.
 
VIII. Maintaining Your Privacy in Business Relationships with Parties Outside Our Affiliated Companies
When we do provide consumer information to a third party, we will insist - through a written agreement or joint marketing agreements - that the third party adheres to privacy principles similar to those to which TIB adheres for keeping this information confidential. TIB does not share your information with nonaffiliates so they can market to you.

At TIB, we value our consumer relationships. We want you to understand how we use the information you provide and our commitment to ensuring your privacy. Our Security Procedures: We also take steps to safeguard customer information. We restrict access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. Employees who violate these standards will be subject to disciplinary measures. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
