Loan Delivery Specialist

Basic Function:

Prepare, approve and deliver mortgage loan packages for Private Investor sales. Maintain favorable relationship with Private Investors so as to assure the timely purchase of all submitted loans. Serve as support and back-up for the Secondary Market Assistant.

Major Duties / Responsibilities:

1. Prepare credit and legal document packages for delivery of whole loans to investors. Incumbent must demonstrate the ability to perform quality assurance reviews on notes, assignments and other file exhibits as required to meet delivery terms.   Must prepare transmittals and copy loan files and exhibits, as required.

2. Act as a company liaison between TIB and investors to ensure that all post closing documentation needed to complete a loan delivery and to resolve loan delivery exceptions are cured in a timely manner. Exception follow-up must be completed within the specified timeframes. Have the demonstrated ability to overcome Investor concerns with a particular file by being fully versed with the merits of the file. Develop a rapport with investors so as to maintain a favorable relationship with TIB.

3. Interface with TIB’s member banks, at all levels, to secure any missing/impaired loan documentation. Employ the skillful use of diplomacy to achieve desired results when dealing with Bank officers.

4. Manage the completion of any trailing documentation due to the Private Investor and assure its timely delivery. Maintain a data base of all outstanding items.

5. Serve as support and back-up for the Secondary Market Assistant as it relates to Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac loan deliveries.

6. Demonstrate the ability to apply all new/revised investor requirements and to meet time constraints.

7. Perform other duties as associated with the Loan Delivery Specialist position, as assigned by management.

Requirements/Desired Qualifications:

  •  3 to 5 years Mortgage Banking experience shipping loans servicing released required
  • Superior communications skills required, both verbal and written
  • Must be highly motivated and able to prioritize tasks
  • Individual should possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
  • At least two year of college preferred
  • Individual should possess intermediate PC skills with emphasis on MS Excel and Word
  • Individual should possess excellent customer service skills
  • Individual should possess good interpersonal skills
  • Individual should be able to work well within a team environment
