Accounting Coordinator- Card Services
Basic Function:
Perform/assist with all Card Services Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and reporting activities within the Accounting department.
Major Duties / Responsibilities:
1. Process monthly program expense billing to TIB, WSCS and BBCS.
2. Process ATM billing.
3. Process monthly billing for Merchant equipment and supplies.
4. Approve A/P invoices and submit to Corporate Accounting for payment.
5. Assist Controller with the coordination of daily accounting related functions and special projects.
6. Assist Controller with quarterly Visa/MC filings.
7. Assist Controller with monthly management report Prepparation.
8. Assist the Card Services Controller with the Business Continuity Plan Development and serve as alternate to lead the recovery action plan.
9. Process overdraft report.
10. Perform backup responsibilities for GL/DDA reconciliations as needed.
11. Perform other duties related to the Accounting Coordinator position, as assigned by management.
Requirements / Desired Qualifications:
- 2-4 Years previous accounting experience preferred
- 2-4 Years previous bankcard experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally, and in writing
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with changing priorities
- Intermediate PC skills
- Focused accuracy and attention to detail
- Regular and punctual attendance is required
- Individual should possess good interpersonal skills
- 10-key by touch
